Hi everybody,

I can't get the "Out of Office" reply in kontact to work. Uploading sieve scripts through "Settings -> Manage Sieve Scripts" works fine. When I try "Tools -> Edit 'Out of Office' replies...", kontact says

Malformed URL sieve://markus%40dunix.local@server.dunix.local:2000/?x-mech=PLAIN.

This is what happens on the server side:

I installed the latest ebuilds from the kolab2 overlay (kmail-3.5.5-r10, libkcal-3.5.5-r10, kdepim-kresources-3.5.5-r10).

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Markus

Was this something that worked before you installed the patched ebuilds? The patches should actually have no effect on this but I just wanted to make sure.

No, I had the same problem with the ebuilds from portage (latest stable versions kde 3.5.5).

When I saw the new ones today, I was hoping they would fix this  Wink

No, sorry Smiley The new patches were just relevant for the handling of shared folders with large amounts of events.

I am currently unable to debug the sieve stuff so I just opened a bug as reminder (http://bug.pardus.de/view.php?id=94). I'll also post here once I was able to test this.

Be sure to enable the "crypt" USE flag.
kdepim has to be configured --with-sasl for the sieve KIO slave to be built.

I have the "crypt" USE flag enabled and the sieve KIO slave works fine. (Otherwise, "Settings -> Manage Sieve Scripts" wouldn't work). Only the "Out of Office" isn't working.

Anyway, it doesn't seem to be a kolab related problem:
