Hello,

I saw some work in progress for the coming horde-webmail (http://files.pardus.de/horde-webmail-patches-1.2_rc1-r2.tar.bz2). Could you share you planning for that?

horde-webmail-1.2_rc1 is available from portage. Just add USE="kolab" and emerge the package.

I'm currently working on horde-webmail-1.2 and it will be released in this week.

As I'm maintainer of the horde packages in portage now I don't need to put them in the overlay anymore.

Cheers,

Gunnar

Thank you for the quick replay and for all your work, the only thing is that the latest horde-webmail package in portage is 1.1.3. Maybe it's my stupidity....

Sorry, my stupidity Smiley I prepared horde-webmail-1.2_rc1 locally and never intended to release it as it was just a release candidate. I just didn't remember, saw the ebuild in my portage which resulted in my irritating reply.

Anyway, I did commit horde-webmail-1.2 now. This is the version I will also rely on for Kolab-Server-2.2.1 (OpenPKG). If somehow possible I'll stick to this version during the next year or so (also for Gentoo).

It is currently not well tested yet if you activate USE="kolab" but I hope most things work.

Cheers,

Gunnar

Great news, thank you! Hopefully, I'll have some time to test it tomorrow.

Hi,

I've tried to upgrade horde-webmail today. It looks like something is _really_ broken there. Even login didn't work initially (apache said: child pid 16891 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)), but after removing the line "$conf['kolab']['imap']['cache_folders'] = true;" from horde config file, I've been able to login. Unfortunately, except plain mail nothing works as it should. Below is a few broken things I can briefly mention:
- imap preferences are broken
- no admins anymore: changing string $conf['auth']['admins'] = ;  doesn't mane any sense
- no imap addrress book/notes/calendar/tasks

I'm wondering if there is some major changes in imap data structures.

That does not sound good. It might be caused by old session data though. Can you remove all files in the "tmp/" directory in the horde root folder and check if that changes anything?

I don't think it's the case: I'm not using default tmp and storage directories (it's not a good place IMO), so when I tried horde with all default settings (except kolab.php), the tmp directory was empty. But anyway, I'll check it one time more.

I've tried one more time, unfortunately it doesn't help.
