hi

after some month of inactivity i once again want to install kolab Cheesy so everything went fine except some minor things (apache, php) but when i start the webadmin i get greatet by "no email for webmaster@localhost, root@ etc. defind" and when i want to insert the specific email i get a: "no user found". so that's understandable for the first time but after i inserted the first user that email address should exist. why do i still get the "no user found" when i insert the admin email?

thx for helping me

Hi,

I am not absolutely certain that I understand where you see the error or where it originates from. You don't mean the initial "No account is configured to receive mail for administrative addresses..." message?

Cheers

I had the same thing happen. It is the initial "No account is configured to receive mail for administrative addresses..." message. You have to set up a regular mail user first and then specify that user for the admin one. If no regular user is setup you will get the "no user found message."

Cheers,
Jason

Did you go to the "Services" page and enter the user you created as the person that should receive admin messages?

hi gunnar

yes i did. never took it. i used the newest overlay today and it suddenly worked. i think i got a little bit confused over the different install websites. now i took your new one where most of the troubleshooting stuff still is in progress and finaly it worked. going to test now the outlook-connection and hope that is works too.

thx for everything.
