I installed kolab on a virgin gentoo box and couldn’t access web admin. After troubleshooting it appears that /usr/share/php/kolab/admin/ isn’t being copied to  /var/www/kolab/htdocs/admin/ . I unmerged and emerged kolab-webadmin-2.1 on my working kolab install and it broke.

2hrs wasted Sad

The solution is to type:
mv /usr/share/php/kolab/admin/templates /var/www/kolab/htdocs/admin/

Bump

When I goto the kolab web admin on a fresh install I get the following.
Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "page.tpl" in /usr/share/php/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1092

Thank you sir! If it saved you 2 hours, the amount of time you've saved me is most likely far greater than that.  Grin
