Hi!

The recent months saw quite an amount of progress in the Horde area. Horde-3.2 ALPHA got released in August. Thus is it is now possible to base the next set of Kolab specific Horde packages on an actual release rather than a CVS based snapshot. You can expect a significant improvement in stability and cross-client compatibility.

The new set of packages contain all the patches that will also be part of the next Kolab2/OpenPKG release that contains Horde for the first time. Of course you get served slightly earlier on Gentoo Wink

The packages got moved from a fixed install back to the webapp-config install common on Gentoo. So after emerging you should run:

Code:
webapp-config -I -h kolab -d horde horde-kolab 3.2_alpha
webapp-config -I -h kolab -d horde/imp horde-imp-kolab 4.2_alpha
webapp-config -I -h kolab -d horde/ingo horde-ingo-kolab 1.2_alpha
webapp-config -I -h kolab -d horde/kronolith horde-kronolith-kolab 2.2_alpha
webapp-config -I -h kolab -d horde/mnemo horde-mnemo-kolab 2.2_alpha
webapp-config -I -h kolab -d horde/nag horde-nag-kolab 2.2_alpha
webapp-config -I -h kolab -d horde/turba horde-turba-kolab 2.2_alpha
webapp-config -I -h kolab -d horde/passwd horde-passwd-kolab 3.0.1

This will place the packages in /var/www/kolab/htdocs/horde. This is the default install location.

But you are of course free to vary that location. Just make sure you adapt the Kolab Apache configuration to the new path.

Cheers,

Gunnar

Make sure you use the kolab flag when emerging otherwise none of the kolab specific files get copied over.

And in addition you should re-emerge the latest kolabd-2.1. I fixed some of the templates for the use with Horde.

Sorry for not using "-rX" release tags at the moment. At some point I will have fixed upstream well enough that I will also be able to do sane packaging.
