I've been running a few different kolab installs for quite some time. The initial kolab install on one of the servers had cyrus using db-4.2. I did a fresh install on a new server recently which pulled in db-4.3. The new server bootstrapped fine, but when I restored the /var/imap and /var/spool/imap from my old server, cyrus of course wouldn't start because of the conflicting db versions.

After fighting with it for a while, I installed db-4.2 and re-bootstrapped. Cyrus then started without a hitch.

Is there a way to upgrade my data to db-4.3? Is there any benefit to doing so?

Thanks,
Jason

I'm not too much into berkeley db so I can't tell if it is an advantage to upgrade to 4.3. The older cyrus (2.3.Cool had issues with the newer db versions that should be resolved with 2.3.9.
