New web admin problem

I installed kolab and was able to get to the web admin screen, I then installed horde and was able to get to the hord admin screen. When I tried to go back to the kolab screen I was greeted with

Fatal error: Call to undefined function bindtextdomain() in /usr/share/php/kolab/admin/include/locale.php on line 113

I do appoigize if their is an easy fix to this I am quite new to all of this and am a little lost. I would like to thank everyone for their hard work bringing this wonderfull peace of software to Gentoo

This looks like you are using PHP without having the "nls" use flag activated. If it worked the first time and failed the second time, did you re-emerge dev-lang/php in between?

emerge -pv php

lists "nls" as active use flag.

Thanks for the help not having php compiled with nls was my problem. I changed some use flags to get horde to work and in the process nls got dropped.
