LDAP error when attempting to modify user

Kolab-2.1 installed without a hitch, but then I added myself as a user.

First Name: Shane
Last Name: O'Donnell

This displays as "O\'Donnell, Shane" in the list of users, and when clicking on Modify I get the following:

Warning: ldap_read() [function.ldap-read]: Search: Invalid DN syntax in /usr/share/php/kolab/admin/include/ldap.class.php on line 130

Errors:
LDAP Error: No such dn: cn=Shane O\\5C\'Donnell,dc=**,dc=co,dc=uk: Invalid DN syntax

The entry shown by ldapsearch is:

Yes, you should indeed take precautions when using apostrophes in users names because it is a bug that has apparently not been fixed yet This is something I need to fix upstream. So thanks for the note, I'll create a bug upstream and fix it.
