clamd.conf.template - small issues

I recently upgraded my clamav install to clamav-0.90. I did a kolabconf to reload the template, and when restarting clamd got an error.

It complained that 2 of the options set by the template were missing boolean identifiers.

The 2 options are:

LogTime
FixStaleSocket

By adding a yes beside each of these options, clamd will start based on the config file generated by the template. I also ran into a permissions issue on the log file at /var/log/clamav/clamd.log. I had to chown it to amavis:root since clamd runs as user amavis which is also set by the template.

Indeed the older kolabd-2006* ebuilds won't work together with the newer clamav >=0.90.

I added a corresponding blocker into the ebuilds now. kolabd-20070216 is available but still masked.

May I ask: Are there any plans to create a kolabd ebuild in the "stable" branch to work with clamav-0.90? Would be nice to have an up-to-date clamav with "stable" Kolab.

Certainly. As given in the roadmap the packages should all get marked stable a month after upstream released 2.1

The newest kolabd is still masked since it also switches the db format for the imapd server.

Since clamav 0.88 has no know security holes at the moment I assume the situation will remain as it currently is for about two months.
